Djokovic retrouve la forme grâce à l’aide de Taylor Fritz
Novak Djokovic Grateful for Help in Recovery from Knee Injury
Novak Djokovic acknowledged the role played by Taylor Fritz in his rehabilitation from a torn meniscus suffered during this year’s Roland Garros.
Djokovic, who initially seemed uncertain to participate in the 2024 Wimbledon Championships following the injury, has since recovered and is set to compete in the third Grand Slam of the season.
The Serbian player expressed his gratitude to fellow ATP rival Taylor Fritz, who had faced a similar situation after the 2021 French Open and managed to recover in a shorter timeframe to compete at Wimbledon that year.
Guidance from Taylor Fritz
Recalling his conversation with Fritz, Djokovic highlighted the invaluable advice and experiences shared by the American player, who had gone through a comparable knee injury three years ago.
Despite initial doubts about his ability to play at Wimbledon, Djokovic’s swift recovery has enabled him to participate in the upcoming tournament.
Djokovic has been wearing a knee brace during practice sessions and exhibitions, including a win against Daniil Medvedev, as he seeks to secure an eighth Wimbledon title.
